West Ham star Arnautovic slams referee following Bournemouth draw

Callum Wilson's 93rd-minute equaliser led to a disallowed goal, but after deliberation amongst the officials, the goal was controversially given, to the dismay of West Ham boss David Moyes.

Moyes felt his side had been denied two valuable points that seemed certain after two late goals by Marko Arnautovic. He told the club website: "I didn't think it would be given with the length of conversation between the officials".

"I don't know how or why he [Madley] would have to go to him if the linesman gives an offside".

When asked about the Bosnian's mistake, Howe added: "Asmir's slip is a hard one for me, what can you say?"

However, replays showed Wilson to be in an offside position at the back post, as well as the ball coming off his arm before ending up in Adrian's goal.

"I think he said the assistant referee only put his flag up to draw attention to it, and I've never heard of that ever".

However, goals from Dan Gosling and Nathan Ake had given hosts, Bournemouth the advantage by the hour mark.

West Ham had stormed into a 3-2 lead not long before, with the Cherries pushing for an equaliser in the six minutes of added time and got their reward.

"We're lacking quality", Moyes said after the latter game.

"Fortunately enough, we have another game on Tuesday, so we'll go again then".

"I think there were some actions today where we were a bit unlucky, but we were lucky because Bournemouth had one or two chances as well". It looks like we might have got away with one there.

All Whites captain Winston Reid was relegated to the bench as West Ham fought to a 3-3 English Premier League (EPL) draw against Bournemouth on Wednesday morning (NZ time).

The West Ham winger knows his side played very well in the game, but were unable to secure all three points as Bournemouth scored a contentious equalizer.
