Glassdoor Announces the Best Places to Work in 2018

To be ranked, companies have to employ at least 1,000 staff and had to have at least 30 reviews for each of the eight workplace attributes (overall company rating, career opportunities, compensation & benefits, culture & values, senior management, work/life balance, recommend to a friend and business outlook) taken into account as part of the awards algorithm. Set apart by tens of millions of reviews and insights provided by employees and candidates, Glassdoor combines all the jobs with this valuable data to make it easy for people to find a job that is uniquely right for them.

Current and former employees give their input about their experience in the workplace, which Glassdoor then compiles.

Glassdoor CEO Robert Hohman told CNBC, "This year's list represents a diverse group of employers hiring across the country, including top companies in tech, retail, healthcare, consumer goods, consulting and more".

Other companies rated in the top 10, are yoga retailer Lululemon, marketing startup HubSpot, World Wide Tech, St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., and Ultimate Software.

"We know today's job seekers are more informed than ever about where they go to work, researching everything from company culture to career opportunities to pay philosophy and more". Gallo will be honored with the Glassdoor Employees' Choice Award.

Anglian Water employees who have voted it the second-best company to work for in the UK.
