Taylor Swift fans blast Kim Kardashian with rat emojis over Instagram post

There's no love lost between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift - and the same goes for their fans.

Taylor and Kim's husband Kanye have been embroiled in a long-running feud ever since the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, when he interrupted her acceptance speech for Best Female Video.

Well over a year since West's controversial music video for "Famous" dropped, Kim Kardashian posted a throwback picture of her gazing upon the nude celebrity sculptures that were the stars of the music video-and Swift fans can't stop posting rat emojis.

Soon after the image was posted, fans of Taylor bombarded the post with rat emojis after viewing it as a not-so-subtle dig aimed at their idol.

Taylor tried to claim Kanye never informed her about said lyrics, Kim released a slew of Snapchat receipts to prove otherwise, and Taylor tried to "remove herself from the narrative".

Look what you made me do!

Back in 2016, the Reputation musician and Kardashian were on the outs after West addressed T-Swift with a line claiming he "made that b- famous" on his Life of Pablo track. The wax figures of Swift and West are clearly visible in the shot, which Kardashian captioned, "famous".

The reality TV icon on Monday posted a photo of herself at husband Kanye West's Famous art exhibit, which was displayed in Los Angeles' Blum & Poe gallery a year ago.

Users explained that snakes - the animal Kim referred to Taylor during their beef, and the symbol Taylor has been using in her new album "Reputation" - eat rats, thus their new symbol for Kim.

The rats are a likely replacement for the snake emoji, which Kardashian blocked from her feed after both she and swift were plagued with them in their Instagram comments amid the high-profile feud.
