Saturday Night Live Rolls Out Holiday Schedule and Hosts

Nov 29, 2017, 00:58

The month kicks off with Saoirse Ronan hosting and U2 performing, followed by James Franco and SZA on December 9 and Kevin Hart and Foo Fighters December 16.

Waiting to see who will be the hosts and musical guests on the December episodes of Saturday Night Live is a little bit like waiting for Christmas presents. Actress Saoirse Ronan will be on "SNL" for the first time. NBC has just rolled out the SNL holiday schedule, and we're going to get three back-to-back shows in December!

Saoirse Ronan is a NY native, but she grew up in Ireland, so who better to join her as musical host than U2?

The next episode will air December 9th, hosted by The Deuce's James Franco with musical guest SZA. Eminem was also among the performers in November to take the stage, where he performed a medley of hits including his newest single "Walk on Water" featuring Beyonce. Franco is a favorite guest at SNL, so much that Lorne Michaels even let him shoot the documentary Saturday Night from behind the scenes of the John Malkovich-hosted episode in 2008.
