OnePlus 5T goes on sale in India via Amazon and OnePlus Store

The OnePlus 5T is now available for purchase in India.

The smartphone will be available in midnight black color variant.

As far as specifications are concerned, the OnePlus 5T features an 18:9 bezel-less display. The early access sale and preview sale were held for the interested consumers on Amazon India in the past few days.

The 64 GB OnePlus 5T with 6 GB RAM costs Rs. 32,999 (~$512) in India.

But if OnePlus launch the Lava Red colour option in its popular markets such as India and the USA, it will be a great deal for the consumers looking out for a different colour version of the smartphone.

Well, today - several weeks after the OnePlus 5T made a debut - the company announced a Lava Red version of the OnePlus 5T in China.

The major highlight of OnePlus 5T is its 18:9 display, it features a 6.01-inch full HD (2160x1080) AMOLED display with an 18:9 ratio, 2.5D curved glass and Corning Glass 5 for protection.

The smartphone is available in two RAM and storage configurations of 6GB RAM+64GB storage and 8GB RAM+128GB. It comes with 16 Megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor primary and 20 Megapixel Sony IMX376K sensor secondary rear camera with Dual LED flash.

Other than these, the OnePlus 5T offers the same specs as the OnePlus 5 that launched back in the summer.

Furthermore, the company in partnership with HDFC is giving Rs 1500 instant discount for consumers who buy the OnePlus 5T with either HDFC credit or debit cards.

Another big change is the dual camera in which OnePlus has replaced the telephoto lens with a large aperture one. OnePlus 5T would be as exciting as OnePlus 5. The device has super-fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. OnePlus has moved its fingerprint sensor to the back of the device. The 5Tcomes with a 3,300 mAh battery with its proprietary Dash charging feature. OnePlus optimized the OS for the Chinese market (which doesn't play well with Google services) and instead of OxygenOS 4.7, it will ship with HydrogenOS, still based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. According to OnePlus, the Face Unlock works 99% of the time when your nose and eyes are visible properly.
