Marvel movies after 'Avengers 4' may be completely different from earlier ones

Ahead of the Infinity War trailer launch tomorrow, Holland - who plays one of the newest members of the Avengers - "accidentally" jumped the gun on revealing the Infinity War teaser poster. Marvel Studio president Kevin Feige, in an interview to Den Of Geek, has elaborated on the subject, "There's a reason we have publicly called the first one Infinity War and the second one "untitled", because the movies we were developing were not - certainly there's a connection, there are with all our movies - but it's not a first part and a second part. "Avengers 4" will bring things you've never seen in superhero films: a finale". As for the poster itself, we don't get a really great look at it but the design mimics the design for the poster for both The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, the former of which was a massive gamble for the MCU.

Feige continues to describe "two distinct periods" which divide everything that came before "Avengers 4" and everything that will come after.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Tom Hiddleston, Tessa Thompson, Benicio Del Toro, Danai Gurira and Josh Brolin. "I know it will not be in ways people are expecting".

Avengers: Infinity War will hit theatres May 4, 2018, and Avengers 4 is slated for May 3, 2019.
