Twitter reacts to Bucs' brutal loss to the Falcons

Julio Jones had been a sleeping beast before Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, but he came alive at the right time to push Atlanta over the top at Mercedes Benz stadium Sunday evening with his 12 catch, 253-yard performance.

The Falcons (7-4) are one game behind New Orleans in the NFC South but hold a wild-card spot. The Buccaneers (4-7) rebounded from a 27-6 deficit behind backup Ryan Fitzpatrick and drove deep into Atlanta territory after forcing a fumble at the other end of the field.

Sarkisian's ability to create chances for Jones, supplemented by fabulous games by Sanu (8-64 receiving, plus the 51-yard touchdown) and Coleman (19-97-2 rushing, including the dagger late in the fourth quarter), spurred Atlanta matching its season high with 34 points and consecutive 30-plus point outings for the first time since Weeks 2-3. In a two-play sequence on the previous series, Jones was working his magic on the opposite sideline to move the sticks, one play before a wide receiver reverse to extend the scoring drive. Prior to Sunday's game, Jones only had a touchdown and two games in which he had at least 100 receiving yards this season. Looking for his third victory since taking over for Winston, the backup quarterback finished 26 of 44 for 283 yards, setting up a pair of short touchdown runs by Peyton Barber. He is 6 of 6 for 228 yards with three touchdowns.

Trufant was evaluated for a head injury and Poole suffered a lower back injury.

So, as expected Bucs Nation is pretty devastated about the team's brutal road-game loss.

Atlanta: The Falcons continue their homestand by hosting Minnesota.
