Curiously, he's planning an important talk with the leader of Turkey right after "Turkey Day".

Before the conversation, Mr Trump had said he was working to tackle a problem in the Middle East that he had "inherited".

His $6 trillion figure may be a reference to a Wall Street Journal story from earlier this month that reported USA military expenditures in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and Pakistan as being $5.6 trillion since 2001.

"After Turkey call", he wrote in his tweet, "I will be heading over to Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter, to play golf (quickly) with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson".

He then had to take the path of Mar-a-Lago (Palm Beach) to discuss "economy and job creation in the United States".

Trump, who noted in a tweet that he would be playing "quickly" with the pair, also played with Woods last December when he was President-elect and has played in the past with a number of other tour players, including Rory McIlroy and most recently Hideki Matsuyama.

Plus, the President's swing has been known to hit some high-profile targets.

"Mr Trump clearly stated that he had given clear instructions and that the YPG won't be given arms and that this nonsense should have ended a long time ago", Mr Cavusoglu said.

Trump's tweet was in response to one from his social media chief, Dan Scavino.

This week, after the presidential entourage arrived in Florida, the White House had to correct itself after a spokesperson initially said she was expecting a "low-key day" while the president spent time at the Florida resort.

This is not the first time Woods has played golf with Trump. The 14-time major champion has only made three starts since August 2015 and has since dropped outside of the world's top 1 000, but Rose believes Woods is in a good place ahead of his return. Scavino had shared a Breitbart News story about New York Giants player Olivier Vernon taking the knee during the anthem on Thanksgiving ahead of a game against the Redskins.
