He is now suffering from kidney and liver failure, and he may die if he doesn't receive a liver transplant soon.

The publication claims he "needs a liver transplant soon or he could die".

David's family has been arriving at the hospital to comfort him. A source connected to the family told TMZ says he has been in failing health for two months.

This doesn't look good.

In February, Cassidy announced he has dementia, something both his mother and grandfather battled.

Cassidy is best known for his role as Keith Partridge in the '70s TV series and for his career as a pop singer.

"I feared I would end up that way". He became a teen idol, fueling his fame with such heart-throb hit as I Think I Love You. I want to enjoy life'.

While he vowed to make the show his last, he struggled to stay on his feet and play the guitar.

The 67-year-old David Cassidy has been stricken with dementia. "His son, ex-wife Sue and brother Patrick are there now".
