Arsenal players are behind Wenger says Iwobi

Cazorla has not played for Arsenal since October 2016 and has undergone eight operations on a troublesome Achilles issue.

Arsene Wenger has warned Tottenham that Arsenal will use Saturday's derby showdown to prove the balance of power in north London hasn't shifted permanently.

The 32-year-old revealed earlier in November that he was told the injury might have left him unable to walk before travelling to his native Spain for further surgery.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference ahead of Arsenal's premier league clash with Tottenham, Wenger said; "What we want from him is to add goals to his game, and these kind of experiences (playing and scoring for Nigeria) will help him to be confident to score". Originally a speedy winger, Walcott has often tried to push the idea that he could be Arsenal's central striker; basically the same move that Thierry Henry made - one that turned him into a club legend and one of the best players in the world.

When Wenger was pressed on if Cazorla would ever play again, the Frenchman replied: "Let's not talk about that, but I hope you are wrong". He tries to practise.

Spain global Cazorla, who joined Arsenal from Malaga in 2012, recently told Spanish newspaper Marca he aims to be back playing in January.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said on Thursday that his side needs to maintain their strength at home in order to make up ground on the teams above them in the Premier League.

"I think it's time, I think that he's shown what he can do now", Seaman told Omnisport on behalf of Tag Heuer.

Nicholas has advised the Frenchman to start Arsenal's summer signing Alexandre Lacazette and England worldwide Danny Welbeck in place of Sanchez and Ozil for the derby clash.

Centre-back Shkodran Mustafi (thigh) and forward Danny Welbeck (hamstring) are due to undergo fitness tests to determine their availability.
