Gigi Hadid drops out of Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

The show that's always been held in the US was moved to China this year in an attempt to spice up the event.

The other models, including sister Bella, Karlie Kloss and Martha Hunt, are already on their way to Shanghai for the show.

They're not alone. The Victoria's Secret staff in China is also having issues sending out press releases since they can't be released until they've received government approval.

Models pose on stage during a previous Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

"It's just a nightmare for all the media trying to cover [the show]", an insider told The Post.

'These TV companies are spending a fortune on it, and they don't even know what they can shoot when they get there'.

It's also been reported that some of the models who booked the show will no longer be participating as they've also been denied work visas.

In a tweet on Thursday afternoon, Gigi wrote, "I'm so bummed I won't be able to make it to China this year".

Gigi Hadid is well-known for her exploits as a model for Victoria's Secret.

While there's nothing wrong with going makeup-free, these backstage photos capture a different side of supermodels than what we see on the runway.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is scheduled to air on CBS on November 28, but people tasked with covering the event are "on the verge of nervous breakdowns", according to The Post.

Again, Gigi hasn't explained the reason behind her cancellation. but either way, it looks like she's walking this one all the way back. not on the runway, though.
