LeBron James ruined this guy's subway commute

The Cavs are visiting the Big Apple for Monday's game against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

"We had two options: a 45-minute bus ride, or six-minute train ride", Korver said, attesting to the remarkable amount of traffic in the city.

In videos posted by both the Cavaliers and Bleacher Report's Uninterrupted, James and his teammates take a jaunt on the railway (with James explaining the trip and ribbing some teammates, too).

Still, it's startling to see a LeBron James-led team being projected to miss the playoffs after seven straight Finals appearances.

Other riders waved to LeBron as the train continued to move along. Or, as J.R. Smith put it, "like real citizens".

November 13, 2017LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers went through a daily rite of passage for New Yorkers-they hopped on the subway.

Kristaps Porzingis voiced his support for Frank Ntilikina after LeBron James said that the Knicks should've drafted Dennis Smith Jr.

It's unclear what train the Cavs were getting on at the 34th Street-Penn Station stop.

The MTA responded to James' video thanking him for riding the subway while also reminding him NY is a Knicks city.

Ironically enough, the Knicks will now battle James and the Cavaliers on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m.
