Jennifer Aniston & Reese Witherspoon's TV Series Just Found a Home & It's

The show doesn't have a name or a proposed air date (though spring of 2019 is a decent bet). It's a drama set in and around a morning show, starring-wait for it-Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. Aniston and Witherspoon will also executive produce the series. The series has received a straight-to-series, two-season bid from Apple, who are making their first move into the world of scripted programming with this programming.

The company has made a handful of shows already, the most high-profile of which is probably a series version of "Carpool Karaoke", the popular bit from "The Late Late Show with James Corden".

Jennifer and Reese are also slated to executive produce the series.

Aniston and Witherspoon's series will offer an inside look at the lives of morning talk show hosts and the drama and challenges they face. The Hollywood Reporter first reported news of the project in July.

Reimagining the original anthology, Amazing Stories, executive produced by Spielberg in partnership with Bryan Fuller, "will transport the audience to worlds of wonder through the lens of today's most imaginative filmmakers, directors and writers". It's unclear if Apple will make the shows available by iTunes or another platform, and whether access will be based on a subscription or advertising-based model.

That's the case for the morning-show drama as well.

Aniston came to fame as Rachel on the hit NBC comedy "Friends", which aired from 1994 to 2004.

Both actresses were nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie category, which Kidman took home.

Carson, repped by Management 360, has been with Netflix's House of Cards for the past three years, serving as a supervising producer and political consultant.
