Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston will be sidelined for "at least two weeks" having aggravated an injury to his throwing arm.

Winston sprained the AC joint in his right shoulder on last month against Arizona, and he landed hard on that shoulder when he was sacked in the final minute of yesterday's first half against New Orleans. Ryan Fitzpatrick, who replaced Winston in the Saints game, will take over at quarterback for the next few weeks.

The Bucs are moving Ryan Griffin to the active roster as Fitzpatrick's backup. Since his initial injured, the Bucs (2-6) have suffered three straight defeats to extended their losing streak to five matches.

Winston has passed for 1,920 yards, 10 touchdowns and six interceptions on the season, which is his third in the league. Koetter said the latest MRI showed "a lot of medical terms that I'm not an expert on, but that he needs to be off for a couple of weeks".
