OnePlus 5T specs leak, to be launched in NY

The 5T will be available for purchase from 21 November from 9AM ET.

As per the GFXBench listing, the OnePlus 5T, codenamed as OnePlus A5010, will have a 6-inch display with FHD+ resolution at 1080×2160 pixels. We have no information about pricing, but this phone is expected to be costlier than OnePlus 5. We're also expecting dual cameras on the rear of the device along with a 20MP front-facing selfie camera. A leak from a noted tech blogger, and phone leaker, Evan Blass also confirmed this belief.

A blog post on the official OnePlus Forums reveals more details about the launch.

The cameras are supposedly 20MP sensors.

The OnePlus 5T will officially launch on Thursday, November 16th, the Chinese phone maker confirmed on Monday, adding that its next Android smartphone is set to go on sale in North American and Europe on November 21st. When a Weibo user asked him if 4,000 yuan (roughly $600) would be enough to buy the company's new phone, the CEO replied with the comment of "Enough".

However, display may not be the only big change in OnePlus 5T.

Lau revealed that unlike previous flagship smartphones this year, the OnePlus 5T will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack, a decision that is welcomed by many users. The launch will take place at 11AM Eastern Time (4PM GMT) and for the first time, OnePlus will sell tickets to the event. Even OnePlus' founders began putting out pictures (more and more) clicked from the 5T.

OnePlus recently tweeted an image, with the caption - "Guess which city we're going to party in for the #OnePlus5T launch!" It's not that hard to ascertain from that picture that it's headed to NY.
