Director James Toback 'accused of sexual harassment by 38 women'

Following allegations of years of sexual assaults by producer Harvey Weinstein, almost 40 women have emerged to report years of perverted and creepy behavior by Hollywood director James Toback.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the 72-year-old director sexually harassed women he hired, women looking for work and women he just saw on the street.

Starr Rinaldi said she was an aspiring actress when Toback approached her in New York City's Central Park about 15 years ago. He would then try to turn the meeting to sexual topics by asking inappropriate questions like, "How often do you masturbate?"

"Guardians of the Galaxy" helmer James Gunn has claimed that for 20 years he tried to warn people about James Toback, who has been accused of sexual harassment by multiple women. One woman recounted the time when she met Toback at his NY home and he wouldn't let her leave until she grabbed his nipples and looked into his eyes while he masturbated. He also told the paper that he had a heart condition and diabetes, making the allegations "biologically impossible".

The allegations against Toback come weeks after the New York Times and The New Yorker expose of Harvey Weinstein.

"I felt like a whore, a disappointment to myself, my parents, my friends. You got Toback-ed, '" Karen Sklaire, a NY drama teacher, actor and playwright who said a 1997 meeting with Toback ended with him grinding against her leg, told the Los Angeles Times. For Louise Post-today the singer and guitarist for indie rock band Veruca Salt, but in 1987, when Toback allegedly told her he'd like to masturbate in front of her, just a college student at Barnard-Weinstein's public fall from grace forced her to face that part of her past. I told the women who would come forward I had their back.

"And the frightful thing is, whichever road you choose, whether you sleep with him or walk away, you're still broken, You have been violated", added Rinaldi. The pieces prompted dozens of women, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie, to publicly accuse Weinstein of abuse.

These new revelations follow in the wake of the case of Harvey Weinstein, who is rocking Hollywood and pushes many actresses to openly condemn the practice hitherto passed over in silence in the american industry of cinema. "I have personally met at least FIFTEEN WOMEN, probably more, who say that he's accosted them in NYC", Gunn wrote in a Facebook post.

"He said that if he was going to cast me in a film that I would have to be comfortable with that", she said.
