WWE TLC 2017: 3 Reasons Why Finn Balor Should Defeat AJ Styles

A chunk of the WWE roster, including Angle's new TLC teammates and opponents, turned to Twitter to express their excitement about the returning Olympic Gold Medalist.

The announcement of Kurt Angle replacing Roman Reigns at this Sunday's TLC main event has temporarily turned WWE upside down. However, with Roman Reigns being pulled from TLC and being replaced by Kurt Angle, there is nearly no chance that Undertaker will appear on TLC tonight. First, when Miz pressured Angle, acting in his capacity as Raw General Manager, to add Braun Strowman (a recent Reigns rival) to his squad, and second, when Ambrose reiterated his claims and Strowman defeated Reigns in a Steel Cage Match to add a fifth man to their team, which turned out to be a returning Kane. In addition, TLC is the debut of Asuka, who held the NXT Women's Championship for over 500 days and now has a win-streak longer than Goldberg, who dominated the late-'90s.

Wyatt will be replaced by AJ Styles on the show, with Styles facing Finn Balor at the otherwise Raw-exclusive PPV.

Powell's POV: For those who missed it, Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt were pulled from the show due to concerns over a viral infection. This will be the first time that Styles and Balor, both former leaders of the Bullet Club, have wrestled each other. Then again, we all said that about Kurt Angle just a few months ago.

Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher vs. Enzo will have the chance to win back his title in a singles match.
