Marilyn Manson Injured by a Falling Prop During NYC Concert

Singer Marilyn Manson has canceled his performance at The Rave in Milwaukee after getting injured on stage during a show in NY.

As Manson finished a verse, he appeared to turn to face a tall scaffolding - with two oversize props shaped like guns attached to it - at the back of the stage.

The incident occurred roughly an hour into Marilyn Manson's concert, the third date on the North American leg of his Heaven Upside Down tour.

All Marilyn Manson shows from October 2nd through October 14th will be rescheduled for a later date. However, he did suffer an injury and the bad news is that he'll be missing the next nine shows as he recuperates.

Manson's reps did not immediately respond to HuffPost for more details on his injury.

Marilyn Manson live in NYC last night...

The rock star was performing a cover of "Sweet Dreams" by Eurythmics at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan when he attempted to climb a large set piece behind him.

Reports say that Manson remained on the stage for a couple of minutes while people tried to help him.

"Manson!" one audience member told the Post.

The singer's representative told Variety, "Manson suffered an injury towards the end of an incredible NYC show".

His official website lists his gig at Freaker's Ball at Grand Prairie, Texas on October 15.

Manson had to be taken away on a stretcher.

Marilyn Manson is now touring in support of his band's new album, which goes on sale next week.

Manson was three dates into his The Heaven Upside Down tour in support of 10th studio album which is about to release in this Friday.
