Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris Details Crop Up on the Xbox Store

As we look forward to end-game content, the Microsoft Store has officially revealed the listing for Destiny 2's first expansion, which will be called Curse of Osiris. Previously, the Lighthouse was only accessible for players who gained flawless runs in the player versus player Trials of Osiris. Through that listing, we get our introduction to Destiny 2's first DLC.

While dedicated Destiny 2 players may have known about the DLC from the image included in the expansion's cover-the symbol for Osiris himself-it's encouraging to know what is coming down the pipeline, and how the game is going to keep players on their never-ending quest for loot. The Burning Shrine Crucible map places players on the planet closest to the Sun, as does the Trials of Osiris' greatest reward, the Lighthouse.

The expansion is set on the new region of Mercury and is set to feature all new story missions, Equipment and features.

Destiny 2 just came out a few days ago, and already more information about its upcoming content came out in the past few days.

"Destiny 2 Expansion I: Curse of Osiris continues your Guardian's journey with all-new story missions and adventures in a new destination, Mercury". Dark Below and House of Wolves, expansions for Destiny 1, were heavily criticized for reusing old content and not providing much new stuff. Sadly, the listing isn't complete, as it is missing both release date and price, but there are plenty of other details fleshing out what players can expect in Curse of Osiris.

The expansion is only available as part of a bundle, according to the site. Share your opinion with us in the comment section below.

Update: Bungie's marketing director Eric Osborne confirmed Curse of Osiris as the first expansion, but doesn't clarify if all the reported details like the release month.
