We will have typical summertime weather for much of next week.

Highs will generally be in the 80s each day for the remainder of the week. A weak cold front is expected to bring cooler temperatures and a chance of showers and thunderstorms through the weekend.

A morning shower or t-storm in spots; not as warm, less humid and breezy with some sunshine (a refreshing afternoon).

Today high temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and mild temperature develop, with a low of 66 degrees, and the chance for a few rain showers. Sunday will be a bit wetter.

Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that as the cooler weather settles across Kansas, rain chances will be ending, at least for now.

Saturday A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Temperatures will start near 70 this morning and reach the mid to upper 80s this afternoon, near normal for this time of year.

Tuesday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 9 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 85. South wind 7 to 11 miles per hour becoming west in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60.

Tonight, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4 a.m., according to the weather service. Thursday will be mostly cloudy.

Thursday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Monday: Rain. High near 69.

Last year, the high temperature for August 3 at Denton Enterprise Airport hit 98 degrees.

Tomorrow: Becoming mostly sunny. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
