Disney Reveals First Look At New Star Wars Land For D23 Expo

Star Wars' world-building has always been my favorite part of the franchise, and it looks like Disney has nailed that aspect of the park to really transport you to a planet that's reminiscent of Tatooine's grittiness and Endor's forest land. Work began on it in 2016. During the live stream, YouTubers JackSepticEye and Strawburry17 will get their hands on the latest games from Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel, including Star Wars: Battlefront II, Spider-Man, and Kingdom Hearts III! Besides previously released renderings, this incredibly detailed layout gives us our first big picture look at what to expect at Disney's most anticipated new attraction. Representing the largest single-themed land expansion at 14 acres each.

"Well, according to Mark Hamill, it's probably not the most interesting of ideas, with the actor telling Fandango that: "[Han] had a more colourful life prior to Star Wars than I did. Special lighting on painted backgrounds will change the environment from day to night.

Among the things we can't wait to explore in person: The Millennium Falcon ride that will let you drive Han Solo's famed ship yourself and another E-ticket ride that will put you in the middle of a fight between the Resistance and the First Order. There will also be droids and aliens throughout the as-yet-unnamed land. "It's so intense, it's historic", he said. "Depending on where you enter the land from one of three entrances, the visitor's story will vary". The second attraction takes guests into the heat of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

"Our intent is to make it feel as if you just walked into one of the movies..." What do you think about this early look at Disney's new Star Wars park?
