More sunshine today. Seasonably warm and humid

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move through our area this afternoon. Sunday night should be clear, with lows in the mid-50s. We will once again have a chance to see some showers and storms.

With Fourth of July on a Tuesday, most of the festivities will be over the weekend, and it looks very nice! Both days will not be washouts. High: mid 80s to near 90 degrees.

Several chances for showers and storms for next week. As has been the case many times in the past two weeks, there's the chance for a few scattered showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Closer to average, but hot and humid for the week.

Forecasters are calling for sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s on Sunday throughout the mid-valley. A chance for a shower and storm in the afternoon (30%). Winds: SW 5-10 miles per hour. High: 94. Wind: S 10-15 miles per hour.

MONDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Slight chance of a pop up shower or thunderstorm.

The 4th of July on Tuesday will be seasonably warm as highs reach the mid 80s with low humidity.

A tropical wave located about 500 miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands is now producing a large area of cloudiness.
