Lady Gaga's Coachella performance to be 'high energy'

Lady Gaga's performance at 2017 Coachella Music Festival was special, as she surprised her fans by singing a brand new song, The Cure.

"I remember when I released this album, it caused so much trouble", she told the crowd of Born This Way. Less than a day after its debut, the new single has already shot to the No. 1 spot on iTunes in the USA and around the world. "And you cure me every time with your love".

At the end of her set, Gaga announced that her new single would be available to purchase this evening, and it is now available on iTunes, Spotify, and Apple Music around the world.

Gaga worked on the new single with ARTPOP collaborator DJ White Shadow. That title was originally set to go to Beyoncé, but she pulled out in February due to her pregnancy. Of course, she followed that up with her trademark endearment for her fans: "I love you!"

After a costume change, Lady Gaga closed the show with two of her biggest hits, Poker Face and Bad Romance.

Speaking of new stuff, halfway through the show, Gaga excitedly announced the debut of a brand-new single, saying she'd been keeping it "a secret for so long".

Lady Gaga's performance at Coachella was always destined to be unforgettable, and the singer didn't disappoint. She also performed Telephone, her 2009 collaboration with the insane in Love hitmaker, and reportedly fell silent during Beyonce's parts on the song.
