James Corden Has A 'Divas Riff-Off' With Demi Lovato

"I heard you've been telling people that divas back then are better than divas today", she said, clearly perturbed.

(Oh, oh, oh!) Demi Lovato stood up for modern-day divas everywhere on Wednesday night, making an appearance on The Late Late Show to challenge host, James Corden, to a diva riff-off. Lovato brought out an a cappella group - Level - for the occasion, which meant Corden couldn't refuse the challenge.

Corden opened his show saying how he found his new favorite radio station, which only plays the tunes from divas such as Tina Turner and Cher. I don't think she's a diva, but you let me know what you're thinking in the comments section below!

Corden clapped back with Tina Turner's "River Deep, Mountain High" and Aretha Franklin's "Respect". They launched into a sing-off to plead their respective cases. She did a mic drop after finishing her own song "Heart Attack" and demanded Corden pick it up.

While James complimented his opponent on her stellar vocal range, Demi was less than kind about the host and actor's voice. At least they found a way to work together.
