The Champions League comebacks that 'may' give Arsenal hope

No side in the European Cup's 61-year history has progressed after losing a first leg by four goals, although Barcelona coach Luis Enrique was beaming with optimism in his pre-game news conference.

"If we were capable of scoring four goals against Madrid at the Bernabeu, why can't we score four against Paris at the Camp Nou?" the Uruguayan said.

"We have a big advantage, but Arsenal are risky, so we have to go full throttle to win", said Spain global Javi Martinez, who netted his first goal of the season in Saturday's 3-0 victory at Cologne.

"It will be hard, but I have unwavering belief that we can play a great game and get right back into contention", Barcelona coach Luis Enrique, who announced last week he will leave the club at the end of the season, told reporters.

"The game will last 95 minutes and we must be patient", striker Luis Suarez, 30, said about this game, per ESPN FC.

"I've been convinced for a couple of weeks that there will be a stage in the game where we will be close to achieving what we need", he said. "And when we're close, our morale will keep on growing and [PSG's] may decrease".

The Spanish giants were thrashed 4-0 in the first leg of their tie with Paris Saint-Germain and are in need of a miracle in the second leg at the Camp Nou.

Defenders Aleix Vidal and Jeremy Mathieu are both sidelined for the hosts due to ankle injuries.

They had the flawless start when Suarez's effort just went over the line after just three minutes.

With Messi in his current mood, Neymar also playing extremely well and Luis Suarez always capable of scoring, if Barca can grab an early goal to make the Parisians nervous, it could be an exciting evening.

They do have some kind of chance, though, purely thanks to the presence of Lionel Messi, whose performance against Celta Vigo on Saturday, featuring two brilliant goals and two assists, was among the very best of his extraordinary career.

PSG, meanwhile, will be boosted by the return of midfielders Adrien Rabiot, Angel Di Maria and Thiago Motta following injuries. In Paris, we showed great concentration from the first minute to the last. I missed it myself being born in 1969, but we know Dortmund kicked Benfica's ass in that second leg tie of the first round at home.

Asked if he could see in Messi's eyes that the club's all-time highest goalscorer had PSG in his sights, Suarez added: 'It's a game that he wants to play but it's one we all want to play.
