Lindsay Lohan appears on 'The View' to discuss Syrian refugee crisis

I don't want to make light of the addictions that the actress has struggled through and (seemingly) recovered from; that's a hard hill to climb, and I'm not one to kick a Hollywood star just because there's down.

"I will sing again, as #ariel #thelittlemermaid", the 30-year-old actress captioned side-by-side photos of herself and the animated redheaded princess. "@disney approve that #billcondon directs it along with my sister @alianamusic singing the theme song for the soundtrack". However a source close to Lohan confirmed she definitely "wants to do" a new version of The Little Mermaid for the studio. So, yeah. However, that hasn't kept Lohan from trying her best to get out there and get some work.

"By Sunday, she updated the caption to simply read "#thelittlemermaid". While there may be an opening for someone to take on the role of Ariel in the live action The Little Mermaid, it remains to be seen who will be hired to replace Chloe Grace Moretz.

Outside of pushing for a Mean Girls sequel and other roles, Lindsay Lohan has recently spent a lot of her time in Turkey voicing her support for the Syrian refugees and speaking out against the crisis they endure.

"Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)" songstress and surprise Brexit commentator Lindsay Lohan can see herself back in league with Disney. In her latest Instagram post, she made her wish to play Ariel in the live action remake of the Disney 1989 classic "Little Mermaid". Do you think she would be the right choice?
