Nik Wallenda unhurt as 5 hurt in Florida circus high-wire fall

Multiple performers were seriously injured at Circus Sarasota when five people fell at least 30 feet while practicing a high-wire routine early Wednesday afternoon.
There is one confirmed trauma alert.
Officials said he managed to catch himself and was not among the physically injured, but is emotionally distraught.
"They're extremely lucky, given the high of the fall that they survived", Brockhurst said.
The team at Circus Sarasota was rehearsing for a show that is set to open February 10. Wallenda is billed as the headliner for the show, "Synergy".
