While everyone is raving about the cinematic experience that Dangal is, one particular man in Ludhiana is fuming at the movie. Well, the first weekend, box office collection of this movie is very good where the makers collected very good profit till now. While yesterday the film had crossed the Rs 250 crore mark by raking in Rs 264 crore, with today's collection, the film has managed to surpass the 300 crore mark as well.

Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, "Dangal" chronicles the story of former Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who trains his daughters Geeta and Babita in wrestling.

The film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra. On Friday, the film minted Rs 29.78 crore and on Saturday, it bagged Rs 34.82 crore. North America has contributed almost half the worldwide earnings; in Australia, the film has set a record for Bollywood films, making $181,000 on the opening day and collecting $529,000 over the three-day weekend.

Dangal is the recently released Bollywood movie which is running successfully in the theaters and made huge box office collections in the first weekend.

While the timing of Dangal's release didn't help much as all the holidays fell on the weekend, no major release is slated till Shahrukh Khan's Raees in late January.

"Dangal" has inspired the UP franchise, which has attached the film's name to the team. All these films were released in the past two months.

Yes, they have keenly set their eyes on the box office collections to see if Dangal could become the highest grossing film of all the time.

Dangal was supposed to be a big hit before the releasing of this flick because of the good promotion and production work.
