Get Your Brand On Facebook Live Now

Under the Explore tab there's a new "Top Live" segment for U.S. users that will display a range of the best content presently on offer as pronounced by the company's algorithm.

Instagram has launched a Live video broadcasting feature within the Stories section of the app for all of its 77.5 million United States members. Live Instagram Stories are only available as they're being filmed, so they're definitely blink-and-you'll-miss-em. You can not view the live videos after broadcasting them.

The disappearing photos and videos option starts rolling out today, although Instagram didn't offer a timeframe for when it would reach all users.

Instagram's focus on sharing pictures has expanded steadily ever since the Facebook acquisition, and now it joins its parent company in offering live video. The live stream, which takes place in Utah and will include a Q&A session, will begin at 3PM ET/12PM PT. There is also an added section called Top Live when users checked the social media's explore section. However, on Instagram Live, videos will only be available during the time a user is actually broadcasting, after which they will disappear once a user is done going live. Ease of use is the name of the game here, as Instagram has made broadcasting a live video as straightforward as possible.

You can now talk to your followers live and read comments from them in real-time. On Facebook, videos are archived and saved for later viewing, becoming part of the social network's timeline, just like any other post.

How is the new Instagram Live different from Facebook's own live video feature?

Facebook's Live Videos are pretty cool.

Remember that these live videos will end once the broadcast stops too, so if you see something interesting you will not be able to save it and show your friends later on. These Snapchat-style temporary photos and videos can be shared to any of the people you follow. Plus, offering your viewers the chance to win a product, a gift card, or a discount will ensure you get at least one customer out of every broadcast.
