Another Justice League Member Confirmed In Cameo With Captain Boomerang?

Jul 30, 2016, 00:44

Alongside a cameo as Batman in next month's Suicide Squad, Affleck also writes, directs, produces and stars in the period crime thriller Live by Night, due out January 27, and executive produces as well as stars as Batman in the Zach Snyder-directed Justice League, now filming and due in theaters November 27, 2017. A recently revealed press kit confirms that another major superhero will cameo in the DC Extended Universe film.

It looks like David Ayer's Suicide Squad contains more twists than what fans expected. However, Ben Affleck's name was curiously left out of the cast listing.

The new Suicide Squad Comic-Con trailer depicts Boomerang, played by Jai Courtney, flying backwards towards the camera with lightning surrounding him. The cast is listed in order of appearance, which means The Flash will likely pop up fairly early in the movie, well ahead of some of the members of the Suicide Squad, including Diablo, Killer Croc and Enchantress. Affleck is slated to appear again as Batman next year in the Justice League film withGal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Henry Cavill's Superman, Ezra Miller's The Flash and Ray Fisher's Cyborg. And the key scene presented was Bruce Wayne recruiting Barry Allen, AKA, The Flash. They are archenemies in the comics, so it only makes sense that they would appear together.

With the film's release a little over a week away, it comes as no surprise that there have been many reveals regarding the plot of Suicide Squad.

The actor was previously rumored to portray Batman's sidekick Jason Todd, who takes the alter ego Nightwing.
