Prince Reportedly Overdosed on Percocet Days Before Death

Immediately after news of Prince's death, a group of fans gathered in the rain on a hillside opposite Prince's home and studios at Paisley Park, some taking photos with their cellphones.

Prince's entourage will reportedly be questioned by police about an alleged painkillers overdose the singer had days before his April 21st death. The outlet reports that Prince's plane made an emergency landing in IL early on the morning of April 15, after which emergency responders treated Prince at the airport and then rushed him to a hospital. He demanded a private room, and when the hospital wasn't able to provide one, he left for home just three hours later. Prince was "not doing well", the source told TMZ.

PRINCE was "treated for a drug overdose" days before his tragic death, it's been claimed.

Earlier Today, on Thursday, TMZ and several other media outlets are now reporting that Prince has died. First responders tried CPR, but were unable to revive the singer and he was pronounced dead at 10:07 a.m.

According to TMZ, Prince's obsession with privacy caused him to leave the Moline hospital long before doctors wanted him to do so.

The unfortunate and surprising death of music legend Prince has rung in many questions about the mysterious circumstances surrounding it.

According to sources, 57-year-old Prince took so many Percocet painkillers after performing in Atlanta, Georgia, that he required emergency medical attention, Mirror reports.

Sir Paul McCartney said: "Saddened by Prince's death". The Midwest Medical Examiner's Office in Ramsey, Minnesota, revealed that it would probably be days or even weeks before the results are revealed.
