Microsoft and Canonical bringing Ubuntu to Windows 10 at Build

Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft's Xbox division, showed how game developers can port their Windows games (such as existing titles on Steam) to UWP and put them in the Windows Store.

While we may not be expecting any large new Windows 10 features today, we can expect a few updates to attract app developers to the platform. We remind you that the first big update that this operating system has received is named Threshold 2 and it was released past year.

"The ISO images for the build as well as the new developer tools announced today at Build 2016 will be released shortly and available here", Microsoft's Gabe Aul, head of the Windows Insider, announced today.

Finally, the update will also converge the Xbox and Windows Store.

Skype is getting the power of the Cortana virtual assistant thanks to Microsoft's new bot framework, and with it, the power to book hotels, buy things online and plan your day. Cortana then used Skype to contact a hotel chain's bot, which suggested a room and helped Rincon make a reservation for those dates.
