Surface Hub isn't vaporware! Microsoft starts shipping it to business customers

Surface Hub, originally slated to ship last September and later missing its January 2016 release deadline, is finally being delivered to Microsoft's business customers, announced Brian Hall, general manager of Microsoft Devices Marketing, on Friday. The 55-inch display costs $8,999, and the 84-incher costs $21,999. Both Apple's iPhone and Android phones have entrenched themselves deep in the consumer's psyche while a Windows phone is looked upon with scepticism and suspicion, as something that offers an extremely limited user experience.

The firm has also broken with tradition by making the TV in the United States - the surface hub will be put together in Wilsonville, Oregon.

There is also built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and a variety of ports for easy wired and wireless connectivity options, allowing devices to share content to the screen.

Coming on to its specifications then the 55-inch model is having a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution at 120Hz with a contrast ratio of 1,300:1. Other features are nearly similar to that of the 55-inch model.

After a whole series of delays, Microsoft is finally ready to release its up to $22,000 Surface Hub to the businesses.

It likewise runs Windows 10 and is crammed with Microsoft Office.

All Surface Book configurations feature a 13.5 inch Pixel Sense display with 3000×2000 resolution and 10 point multi-touch, all notebooks are powered by Windows 10 Pro, and has a battery that's said to be good for 12 hours of video playback. It even comes with marker-sized Surface Pens that can be used to draw, sketch or annotate presentations.
