Windows 10 Outlook Mail Will Support Multiple Windows

One session at this year's event hints at some intriguing possibilities for Live Tiles, one of the most visible and familiar interface elements of its recent operating systems, including Windows 10. After the Windows 8 original introduction, the Redmond-based company has tweaked the Live Tiles UI several times.

When Microsoft has announced its Windows 10 OS, the world was taken by surprise because this platform brought a big change to the way the technology works, because it was going to run across computers, tablets and smartphones.

According to Neowin, Microsoft is planning to turn its Live Tiles even more interactive and one such session at Build could throw more light on that effort.

Technology giant Microsoft is set to unveil two new Live Tile features at its Build developer’s conference, which will be held between 30 March and 1 April. The description also says that Live Tiles will receive "two highly-requested surprises that you won't want to miss". Now it is expected that the company would be ready to include them in an update.

Speculation is that the update will allow users to respond and interact with notifications within the apps, like replying inline for messages or emails, for example.

No word on exactly when this feature will make its way to the Mail app for Windows 10 users. However, the first part is clear and it appears to come with more improvements to the Adaptive Toast notification API.

What's interesting is that Microsoft had already tested this feature in previous Windows 10 builds, but the company suddenly removed it in the latest version without any explanation.
