Will Elizabeth Olsen Play Michelle In Season 2 of "Fuller House"?

According to In Touch Weekly, John Stamos said that both he and Jeff Franklin called Elizabeth's agent to get her to play Michelle Tanner in place of the Olsen twins. Fuller House, which also stars original actors Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin, had already been renewed for a second season.

Full House had an 8-season run from 1987 to 1995 and was revived as Fuller House in February.

Mary-Kate and Ashley, 29, who have not acted as a duo since 2004's New York Minute, decided against playing Michelle once more so they could focus on their careers as fashion designers.

"They're totally welcome", Stamos said earlier this month. Plan B? Younger sister Elizabeth, who plays Scarlet Witch in Captain America: Civil War and Hank Williams' first wife Audrey in biopic I Saw the Light. We would love to have them. Although she admitted that they "probably told me things that I didn't listen to".

But other cast members, including Lori Loughlin, have accepted the fact that the Olsen twins may not come back.
