Described as a "Cinematic Virtual Reality Experiment", the expected release wouldn't be too long after the full HTC Vive launch in April. Well, risky in a good way since it's guaranteed to drive fans insane happy. And Trials On Tatooine is the first glimpse we have of its work-in-progress: a simple-looking game in which the players deflect incoming blaster fire with their trusty Lightsaber.

Trials On Tatooine has been created by ILMxLab, which is a research and development group set up by Lucasfilm purely to create cutting edge Star Wars experiences (we imagine they'll be working a lot on the new Disney Land plans).

Trials On Tatooine has been made specifically with HTC Vive in mind, the only problem being the headset costs £689 and requires a powerful PC to run.
