Today, Google shocks the tech world by releasing the first official Developer Preview of Android N - the successor to the wonderful Marshmallow.

However, it would seem that Google has chose to release Android N early with the launch of the Android N Developer Preview program. Also, flashing additional Android N preview images will cause more data wipes, and if go this route, you will not get automatic OTA updates like you do with the Android N Beta program (continue reading to learn more about the beta program).

The Android Beta Program gives developers an opportunity to try out pre-release versions of Android.

New multi-window support runs two apps or activities simultaneously, similarly to Samsung and LG's multi-tasking features and iOS 9's Split View for iPad.

The new "Always on Display" feature allows users to easily check for updates, without having to worry about unlocking the phone. The company has introduced the first dual pixel camera on Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones.
