'The Division' Encounters Server Issues, Xbox One And PS4 Gamers Report

The Division takes place in a New York City that has been ravaged by a viral outbreak that took place on Black Friday, and is out today.

Issues were common throughout the day as players engaged in early access, but it was the arrival of midnight EST that would trigger armageddon.

Ubisoft has already revealed that The Division servers will be going live at 12:01 AM AEDT on March 8th for Australia and 12:01 AM ET for the United States. The game is out for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC platforms. This ties into some of the new map and world improvements that the day one patch will address, such as field data with audio automatically playing when it's picked up. If you are yet to buy the game, we recommend waiting a few days before doing so to avoid any more initially The Division server issues.
