Jang takes 1-stroke lead into last round at LPGA Singapore

Top-ranked Lydia Ko yesterday carded an ugly 74 as she slipped nine shots off the pace set by South Koreans Jang Ha-na and Mirim Lee at the HSBC Women's Champions in Singapore.
Lee got up and down from a greenside bunker to birdie the last and shoot a 67 to join Jang in a two-way tie at the top of a congested leaderboard after a wet and windy second round at Sentosa Golf Club.
The world No. 10 was inches away from making another eagle putt from off the green on the final hole, tapping in for her fourth birdie of the day.
Thailand's Pornanong Phatlum had the same score to sit one shot back.

Five birdies for a 31 on the back nine, including three straight from the 16th, drove her up the leaderboard and into today's final flight alongside Jang and Pornanong.
"I may try and be a little more aggressive tomorrow", Jang said in a post-round interview.

"It was kind of frustrating, the first nine, shooting one-over-par without any birdies", Yang said.
Pornanong is off to a good start this year with $82,300 in winnings after just three tour events, putting her 16th on the LPGA money list and 34th in the Rolex World Rankings.
