South Africa beats Australia by 3 wickets in 1st T20

Australia don't have the same obsession with silverware - they have more than enough of it anyway - but have already lost a T20 series to India this year and are under pressure to take it to a decider in Cape Town next Wednesday.

The bowler has been sidelined for a number of weeks by the shoulder injury that he sustained during the first Test against England in January.

After six overs, South Africa were placed at 45 for three. Everyone in South Africa's side who was struggling a while back has returned to form, from Amla to Miller, so the hosts will have their fingers crossed that Steyn too follows the trend.

More importantly, though, South Africa have a genuine match-winning spinner in Imran Tahir who has shown an ability to control passages of play by taking wickets and limiting runs.
