Donald Trump wins Vermont Republican primary

Donald Trump has won at least 139 Super Tuesday delegates, while Ted Cruz has won at least 52.

Now they are under pressure to show they can unify voters in their respective parties and avoid a potentially disastrous split in their ranks that could hurt them in the November 8 election.

Clinton swept Democratic Party primaries in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Virginia, Massachusetts and Texas.

Clinton's victories, particularly in southern states, resulted in part from her stong support among African-American voters.

Sanders urges Minnesota supporters to go to Tuesday caucuses
His Minnesota high point before Super Tuesday was winning an unscientific and nonbinding straw poll of GOP activists in December. Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump are beginning to focus on each other in the race for the White House.

Trump's main Republican rivals, Senators Rubio and Ted Cruz, have been frantically trying to halt his march toward the nomination, seeking to unite the party against the man they see as a non-conservative political interloper. He won in seven states, including much of the South. Cruz won three, including his home state of Texas, and Oklahoma.

In a speech in Florida, and in a Fox News interview, Rubio - who won the Minnesota caucus - insisted that he is the strongest rival to Donald Trump in the GOP fight for the nomination.

On the Democrat front, Bernie Sanders, won the Oklahoma primary and caucuses in Minnesota and Colorado, as well as the primary in his home state of Vermont. It's not a 2012 situation, where former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was projected to win but lost pretty badly.

US TV networks say Trump and Clinton won six states apiece on a big day of presidential primaries, when 12 states were voting. Winning those states could boost Trump to a commanding lead in the delegate count, but Florida is Rubio's home state and OH is home for John Kasich, the state's governor.

Cruz emphasized that he's the only one who has beaten Trump.

No matter how well he does on Tuesday, Trump won't yet have enough votes to clinch the Republican nomination.

"Now it might be unusual, as I've said before, for a presidential candidate to say this, but I'm going to keep saying it, 'I believe what we need in America today is more love and kindness", the 68-year-old said amidst applause from her supporters. Trump held events in Virginia and Georgia, while Rubio campaigned in Arkansas.

A confident Trump brushed off his critics early Tuesday, suggesting that he's growing the party and even attracting Democrats to the GOP. Cruz will win 90-100 delegates, more than were expected.

Manchester United star trio to make injury return
Marcos Rojo, who returned from injury in the Europa League tie was withdrawn in United's 3-2 victory over Arsenal . A lot of players receive kicks and they can play the next match".

Fearing Trump may build an insurmountable delegate lead, top Republican officials lashed out at the billionaire businessman's command of the issues and "seeming ambivalence" over white supremacists as voting began.
