Indian army makes candidates strip to foil cheating

Yes, the candidates appearing for an army exam in Muzaffarpur district in Bihar were forced to strip down to their underwear for the duration of the exam as the examiners did not want any of them to cheat.

Army sources have been quoted by the Indian Express newspaper as saying this was done to save time on frisking so many people. They were asked to do so reportedly in a bid to prevent any cheating, reports said.

For the recruitment of clerks in the Indian army, the examination was being conducted.
