Aregawi suspended by Sweden after failed dope test

She failed the out-of-competition urine test conducted by the IAAF, Xinhua quoted the world track and field governing body as saying.

As well as her 2013 world gold, Aregawi won the world indoor 1500m title in 2014 and also claimed European silver in Zurich that year.

Britain's Hannah England finished fourth behind Aregawi in Moscow.

There is no suggestion Aregawi's performance in that race is under scrutiny.
