Did David Bowie's son diss Lady Gaga's Grammy tribute?

Lady Gaga says paying tribute to the late David Bowie at the Grammys is probably the most challenging thing she's done in career because the icon influenced her greatly and helped shape her identity.

Unfortunately for Lady Gaga, Duncan Jones, the son of David Bowie and his first wife Angie, seem to have echoed Vox's scathing review when he published a cryptic post on Twitter following Monday's Grammy performances, as reported by NBC.

"Overexcited or irrational, typically as a result of infatuation or excessive enthusiasm; mentally confused", he wrote. "What IS that word!?" The hordes of commenters on her impressive-yet-frustrating performance blasted Gaga for rushing through songs, and making it a show about her, rather than an artistic tribute to Bowie. We're interested in what Gaga's original plans were mind, as this was originally planned before David Bowie passed away and before it became a tribute.

Jones' comments triggered both outrage and sympathy.

My brother's favourite works of mine are all my instrumentals", he wrote in response to one user who brought up Jones's tweet.
