More than 100 dog breeds, separated into hounds, toy dogs, non-sporting dogs and herding dogs, competed Monday, which followed the agility competitions on Sunday.
Jango, a Spanish Water dog from Ridgeland co-owned by Faith Ott and Janet Rahn, took best of breed honors at the dog show in NY on Monday morning.

Miss P, a 4-year-old beagle from British Columbia, Canada, won Westminster's 2015 "Best in Show" contest.

"She showed great. She's a super nice representative of German Shepherds", said Boyles, an Edgerton, Wisconsin resident. After that show, Cherry and the Kirk sisters handed off Connor to Howard and Heidi Huber, handlers based out of Lancaster County, for two years, where he won many awards; he then retired from his show career at the end of 2007.
Breed competition starts again today at 8 a.m., with the sporting, working, and terrier groups aired live tonight starting at 8 p.m. on USA Network.
