Anyone hoping for a blockbuster trade involving defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth will have to wait a little longer, as there’s been no word as of yet as to the Redskins’ intentions for him headed into the trade deadline on October 19th.
But there is one small note involving Washington and a potential trade discussion involving one of their players, that has hit the wire this morning, with underachieving wide receiver Devin Thomas reportedly being made available to teams in need of depth at that position.
It comes as little surprise, that the Redskins have started discussions involving Thomas, having found little to no use for him in the two seasons since they drafted him 34th overall in 2008.
Thomas will likely generate very little interest, given his lack of production and attitude issues, but at this point, the Redskins would almost certainly take anything they can get for him.
