Off to an 0-3 start, Buffalo has been desperate to find any amount of energy to spark their club into the win column, and while their latest move may not pay off dividends on that front, it should send a message to the team that poor play has a price.
According to Jason LaCanfora at NFL.com, the Bills have decided to part ways with quarterback Trent Edwards, who began the season as the starter in Buffalo, but quickly fell out of favor with two straight games filled to the brim with mistakes.
Edwards had spent his entire career thus far with the Bills, completing 535 passes for 5,739 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 27 interceptions in 34 games played.
