With all of the top five picks locked up, save one, negotiations have become a lot easier for teams headed down the line throughout the remainder of the top ten.
According to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post, Cleveland has come to terms with their first round selection, cornerback Joe Haden (#7 overall). Haden will be signing a five year contract with the Browns, worth an estimated $50 million, with $26 million of it guaranteed.
Haden should be on the practice field tomorrow with his team, but isn’t likely to be slotted in as a starter at his position just yet, with veteran cornerbacks Eric Wright and Sheldon Brown currently handling those roles.
