New England has been known as a haven of sorts for players on the verge of retirement, and that isn’t likely to change any time soon, with the Patriots signing former Jaguars and Rams wide receiver Torry Holt.
The news was first reported by Tom Curran of Comcast Sports Network Northeast. Terms of the deal have not yet leaked out, but it’s likely that the contract will be for the league minimum, given Holt’s age and health issues in recent years.
