Thought to be a prime target for several teams this off-season, Texans wide receiver Kevin Walter has shunned the open market and accepted a new contract with Houston instead, choosing to stay home rather than explore the idea of moving someplace else.
Baltimore Ravens beat writer Aaron Wilson first reported the signing, and believes the deal is for five years and $21 million. Teams that had shown significant interest included Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Baltimore.
